IMPORTANT TIPS FOR HOMEOWNERS BEFORE AND AFTER A
HURRICANE OR WIND DAMAGE EVENT CAUSES DAMAGE
- Make sure you are fully insured for Wind Damage or Hurricane related event (Speak with your Insurance Agent/Agency to make sure)
- Close and Lock all doors and windows, bring anything in from your backyard that can fly through the air(Borad up doors and windows if necessary).
- Make sure you take recent photos of your home inside and out, prior to any Storm.
- Make sure you have your policy stored in a safe/dry place and easy to access after any Storm/Hurricane event.
- Record the date and time that the Storm Event Occurred.
- If or when a storm comes and you discover damage, immediately call Amloss and your Insurance Company.
- Immediately take photos and/or videos of any noticeable damage after the Storm Event (Only if you can and only if it is safe to).
- Amloss will come out immediately to help you document any/all damages to property Personal Belongings, etc.
- Even if your claim is denied by the Insurance Company, Amloss will continue to Represent you and will do everything possible to fight on your behalf to get you any/all monies you deserve.
Hurricanes and storms have excessive winds and power and are very dangerous, first thing you should do if possible is evacuate or leave your area until your county advises that it is safe to return.
